The Backstory

The Ramen Now! Was conceived on a Coast Guard base after the dining facility yielded a bout of food poisoning and the office’s local kitchenette featured a microwave looking to have had 12 years of spaghetti coated onto it. The near-by stovetop was not much better, having no pots or silverware available.

After debating the best way to cook the simple and delicious ramen under such circumstances, the idea of creating a desktop cooking apparatus for personally sized portions of ramen (and other dehydrated foods) was conceived. It would incorporate the bowl, water distribution, and be small enough to sit next to a laptop or computer monitor. At that moment, the Ramen Now! was born.

How Ramen Now! Works
